“ Incredibly great food! The special was filet mignon with bacon and blue cheese crumbles, accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes with a panco crust, and veggies. 4 of us ordered it. I went with the chicken marsala, the best I've ever had! Everything was cooked to the perfection of our individual likings. Our waiter was great. And the price was unbelievable. I will be back every time we make a trip out there from Seattle! ”
“ Matador Pizza's are A+++, these are outstanding! For not specifically being known as a "pizza-place," these entrees stand on their own. We've ordered them for pick up, and this week picked them up as a frozen pizza's at Louie's Foods. The amount of rise in the crust, with the big beautiful bulbous bubbles in the dough that form during baking, you can tell right away these are made from scratch; no pre-fab doughs. Delicious! ”
“ FANTASTIC. Surprising! I ordered their pizza and a burger, did not expect much. BEST pizza I have ever had. Not kidding. Perfectly done, excellent sauce and cheese consistency- but the crust is amazing- like very good bread. I never eat pizza crust- but I wanted to eat this. I've been to over 80 pizza places in my life- this is the BEST pizza. And the burger- came on like Italian square bread wedges- sooooooo tasty. I swear I am not kidding- the best food in the UP by FAR. I didn't expect this- I didn't expect to write this- but I had to. I'm over 50 and from a large college city so I think i know thee things! Really nice owner and family, too. ”
“ Growing up in an Italian family, I have been exposed to Italian food, and the true meaning of sharing a meal. This restaurant brought me home. The Owner makes the best of what is available on the tiny peninsula, giving a unique variety to the area, as well as doing the best to make you feel welcome, and even supporting local artists. Considering the obstacles of available local staffing, ingredients, and supplies, this is by far the best restaurant within this area. I hold high regards to the Owner for holding it all together as long as they have, while juggling the burden of starting up shortly before the pandemic. They are very skilled in their dishes and presentation, and offer fantastic authentic and even unique selection. True art. I have loved every one of them. Thank you for every meal, every smile on mine and my son's when we left, and for keeping your dream alive and sharing it with the community and people who visit. *Those who have left negative reviews must have had a lack of cultural exposure, and/or not care to understand the local and world wide struggles in the recent years. ”
